Information sent on behalf of Notts Police

Good Afternoon

There was a suspicious incident reported this morning Friday the 19th of January regarding suspicious males seen on Maple Close in Radcliffe on Trent and our incident number 000249-19012018 refers.
At 11:20 hours 3 males were seen visiting properties on Maple close. 2 males were described as being white and wearing dark clothing and a black beanie hat. The 3rd male was described as being black, of slim build, and wearing a high visibility vest over his clothing, He was seen telling the occupant of a property that moss was gathering and was offering to clean it off. The roof had been very recently replaced and there was clearly no need for the work to be carried out. The occupant declined the offer.
Have you seen the males ?. Have you seen them with a vehicle and can you describe that ?. Do you have a CCTV system and if so has it picked anything up ?. If you have please let us know quoting the above incident number.

Please do not accept offers of work from cold callers and always obtain at least 3 quotes from reputable companies. If in doubt keep them out. An approved trader list can be obtained from your local Authority.

If you have vulnerable neighbours please keep an eye out for them and let us know straightaway if you see anything suspicious.

If you require any further advice please let us know.

Thank you
