Crime Report Hucknall and the Rural Villages for the week to Thursday 10 May 2018

Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch in Nottinghamshire

Crimes reported over the past seven days.


Burglary Dwelling

Between 11.00pm on Thursday 3 and 7.30am on Friday 4 May on Derby Road, Annesley Woodhouse, a roller shutter door was damaged and a utility room accessed.  Nothing was stolen.


Between 10.00am and 6.00pm on Wednesday 9 May in Waterloo Road, Linby, a kitchen window was forced to gain entry to a property.  Car keys and a white VW Golf were stolen.


Burglary Other

Overnight Monday 7 to Tuesday 8 May in Forest Road, Annesley Woodhouse, a shed was broken into and a Echo hedge trimmer stolen.


Between 7.00pm on Monday 7 and 7.00am on Tuesday 8 May at the Kirkby Portland Cricket Club, Nuncargate Road, Annesley Woodhouse, the equipment room was broken into and two cans of petrol stolen.


Between 12.30pm on Saturday 5 May and 7.00pm on Tuesday 8 May at the Woodlane Timber Merchants, Baker Brook Close, Hucknall, 200 lengths of timber were stolen.


Between 9.00pm on Thursday 3 and 8.15am on Friday 4 May on Derby Road, Annesley Woodhouse, a shed was entered and a saw and woodcutter were stolen.


At 3.15am on Friday 4 May in Derby Road, Annesley Woodhouse, a shed was broken into and the alarm activated.  The offender made off and nothing was stolen.


Around 1.00am on Thursday 3 May on Portland Road, Hucknall, a shop was broken into.  Nothing was stolen but three arrests were made.


Overnight Saturday 5 to Sunday 6 May a Hair Salon on Watnall Road, Hucknall was broken into and cash stolen.


Overnight Thursday 3 to Friday 4 May at a charity shop on Main Road, Jacksdale, and the front door was smashed to gain entry.  We do not know if anything was stolen.


Theft of motor vehicle

None reported.


Theft from motor vehicle

Between 10.00pm on Thursday 3 and 8.00am on Friday 4 May in Lawns Road, Annesley Woodhouse a black pickup truck parked on a driveway was broken into and a Stihl chainsaw and Stihl disc cutter was stolen.


Between 5.30pm on Friday 4 May and midday on Saturday 5 May in Main Road, Jacksdale, a grey Ford Transit van parked in the rear yard of a property was broken into and power tools stolen.


Between sometime on Thursday 3 May and 10.15am on Monday 7 May in Rockwood Crescent, Hucknall a white Renault Master van was entered and hand and power tools stolen.  This theft could have happened in other locations that the van had visited.
